Song ‘Asti Bhanda Hijo’ Based on Adolescent Psychology Features Samrat


Kathmandu: The video of the new song ‘Asti Bhanda Hijo’ (Yesterday Compared to Day Before), sung by Nepal Idol Season 5 winner Karan Pariyar, has been released. The song, composed by music director Deepak Sharma, is available on the Samrat Creations YouTube channel.

This melodious song is based on adolescent psychology and is penned by director Suman Dahal. The song’s music arrangement is done by Samrat Neupane.

According to lyricist Suman, the song focuses on the psychology of teenagers transitioning from childhood to adolescence. He explains that it portrays the curiosity and changes in life brought about by physical and mental developments during this stage.

The video features the solo performance of child artist Samrat, who stated that he acted in the video because it resonates with the emotions of teenagers like himself.

At the age of 14, this marks Samrat’s 14th video. He began his acting journey at the age of five, debuting in a video with a patriotic theme. Since then, he has been consistently active in modeling and acting.

Director Suman Dahal, who has been residing in the United States for the past eight years, continues to direct music videos and short films. The video was entirely shot in various scenic locations in Kentucky, USA. Suman shared that the audience has appreciated the video.
