Kathmandu – A new comedy reality show, ‘Mimicry King,’ is set to launch. Comedian Dinesh Kafle is bringing this show under his direction.
The show will feature caricature comedians, and it will be produced under the banner of Dakshyani Production. The set design for the show is currently underway. According to Director Kafle, preparations are being made to air the show by the upcoming Fagun (February-March). The digital rights for the show have been acquired by OSR Digital, and it is also set to be broadcast on a national television channel.
“We are currently busy with the studio work, and we are confident that the show will be unique not just for Nepal but for the entire world. As far as we know, there has never been a separate show for mimics,” Kafle added.
Digital auditions for the show will open soon. There will be three judges, and the team is in the process of selecting them. The judging panel will be made up with a focus on those who perform mimicry as well as acting.
The winner of the show will receive a car and cash prizes. Additionally, the winner will be given an opportunity to perform at international events, as shared by Director Kafle.
