International Nepalese Chef Society Supports Grand Religious Event in San Francisco

San Francisco, USA.
With the active participation of the non-resident Nepali community, the Nawah Mahayagya and Buddhist Peace Puja concluded successfully in San Francisco. The nine-day religious event was organized by the North American Nepalese Congress (NANC) and was marked by a grand gathering and spiritual devotion.

President of the International Nepal Chef Society (INCS), San Francisco Chapter, Mr. Deepak Bhusal, expressed pride in being part of the event and extended his heartfelt thanks to all the team leaders for their collective efforts.

Thousands of devotees participated in the Mahayagya, during which over USD 700,000 was raised in donations to support the construction of a Nepali Community Center. Organizers shared that similar events in 2011 and 2018 had also helped raise substantial amounts for the same cause.

The organizing team, including the NANC family, the main event committee, Bay Area devotees, various organizations, volunteers, and generous donors, were all deeply appreciated and honored for their contributions to the successful completion of this spiritual and community event.

As a special highlight, a grand feast (Mahabhoj) was organized by the International Nepalese Chef Society (INCS), San Francisco Chapter, in collaboration with Bindas Toli Events. This culinary event added further vibrance to the occasion.

On behalf of INCS, Senior Vice President Mr. Shob Thapa was specially thanked for his coordination with Bindas Toli and for representing the society with excellence. Additionally, Sonu Dhital and the entire Bindas Toli Event Team were acknowledged for their dedication and contributions to the Mahabhoj.

Providing a closing remark, Mr. Laxman Sapkota, National Coordinator of INCS USA, stated that such religious, social, and philanthropic programs—rooted in community unity, devotion, and service—are helping to strengthen the collective identity and social mission of Nepalese in the United States.
