Kathmandu – Actress Miruna Magar has been signed for the upcoming film Maijharo, directed by Wilson Bikram Rai. The production team recently brought her on board. Earlier, actor Dhiraj Magar had already been confirmed for the lead role.
Apart from Dhiraj and Miruna, the rest of the cast has not yet been finalized. The production team has stated that the remaining actors will be announced in the coming days. The film is being produced under the banner of Takme Production and is both written and directed by Takme Budha himself. This marks his directorial and writing debut.
The music for the film will be composed by Anmol Gurung and Toremba Hang Rai.
Maijharo is scheduled to begin shooting in the first week of Shrawan (mid-July) in the scenic locations of Ilam and Panchthar. Based on a social theme, the film will explore the lifestyle, culture, and social realities of Nepal’s eastern hills. Cinematography will be handled by Saurav Lama.
