Kathmandu – Suman Rai, producer of the Nepali film Gurkha Warrior and chairman of the Anugraha Group, has successfully summited Mera Peak, which stands at an altitude of 6,476 meters. With this courageous and inspiring achievement, Rai now aims to summit Mount Everest as the next milestone in his journey.

Former British Gurkha soldier, director, and producer Milan Chams has directed Gurkha Warrior, a film that captures the historical legacy of the brave Gurkhas. The movie, produced by Suman Rai, made history in the Nepali film industry by premiering at the IMAX Cineworld in London’s Leicester Square.
An equally committed contributor to social service, the Anugraha Foundation invests 10% of its income in areas such as education, healthcare, clean drinking water, elderly care, child welfare, and rural development. Launched under the slogan “From Zero to Everest”, the next phase of the mission focuses on Everest summit and raising environmental awareness.
Suman Rai’s campaign, known as the Fundrise Social Campaign, is dedicated to spreading awareness about global warming, protecting the environment, and promoting the message of a safe and sustainable planet for future generations.
