
Kathmandu. The shooting of the film Prativaeram, directed by Roshan Das, has been successfully completed. The film, centered around social and political issues of the Madhesh region, was completed within 45 days of shooting, according to the production team.
The first phase of shooting was carried out in Sarlahi for 15 days, while the second phase took place in Siraha for 30 days. The cinematography (DOP) was handled by Jack. The production team shared that the filming was completed successfully and the project has now entered the post-production stage.
The film features performances by Samrat Das, Birendra Kushwaha, Alisha Bastola, Supragya Sharma, Geeta Shree, Ashish DK, Pradeep Dhakal, Narayan BK, BK Shah, Ramesh Budhathoki, Ronny Yadav, among others.
The assistant directors of the film are Santosh Malla, Agni Subedi, Dhiraj Raut, and Srijana Bhujel. The film is produced under the banner of Rez Entertainment, with Kamal Sunar serving as the production manager and Pankaj Mahato handling the line production.
According to director Das, Prativaeram aims to portray the real stories, beauty, and challenges of the Madhesh region in an authentic way. He mentioned that the film seeks to present the true essence of Madhesh to the audience. The story of the film is written by director Das himself, while the screenplay is penned by Yuvaraj Bhattarai.
The production team has announced that the film is set to be released in 2083 BS.
