
Kathmandu — Demonstrating its commitment to social responsibility, Ghandruk Society UK has provided financial assistance to youths injured during the ongoing GenZ movement in Nepal. Under the leadership of society president Hira Devi Gurung, each injured individual received NPR 20,000 through the initiative “Nepal Snehhi Kakh”.
For many years, Ghandruk Society UK has consistently remained at the forefront during crises in Nepal, contributing to rescue and relief efforts, particularly during floods, landslides, and other emergencies.
Speaking at the support handover, President Gurung stated that helping Nepal and Nepalis during difficult times is the core identity of Ghandruk Society UK. She also expressed her wishes for the speedy recovery of the injured youths and assured that the society will continue community support programs in the future.
The support initiative saw active participation from founding member Dev Gurung along with the entire team of Ghandruk Society UK.
