First Song of Paran – Oi Bhandani Bolena Released


Kathmandu — The first song from the Nepali film Paran, titled Oi Bhandani Bolena, was officially released on Sunday amid a special program held in Kathmandu. Presented in a lively and entertaining style, this dance number has been launched to coincide with the Dashain festival.

Set against a wedding backdrop, the music video features most of the film’s leading cast together in a single frame. Legendary artists Madan Krishna Shrestha and Nir Shah, along with Keki Adhikari, Praveen Khatiwada, Pooja Chand, Mahesh Tripathi, and Anjana Baraili, add vibrant colors to the song through their dance and performance.

The song is voiced by Pramod Kharel, Yaman Shrestha, Rhythm Kandel, Rachana Rimal, and Salina BK. The lyrics were penned by Deepak Prasad Acharya and Anish Adhikari, with music arranged by Rhythm Kandel. The choreography for the video was done by Sunil Chhetri.

Directed by Deepak Prasad Acharya, Paran is set to release nationwide on Kartik 14 (October/November). Carrying the tagline “Not by breath, but by togetherness we live,” the film is based on a wholesome family story, highlighting the importance of relationships and companionship.

The film has been produced under the banner of Bioscope Cinema Pvt. Ltd., established in partnership between the Golchha Group and Prisma Group. This is the first project under the sole banner of Bioscope Cinema. The film is produced by Ranjit Acharya and Shekhar Golchha, with story by Deepak Acharya, screenplay and dialogue by Yam Thapa, cinematography by Shivaram Shrestha, and editing by Mitra D. Gurung.
