
Kathmandu — A new song titled “Muya Rani,” centered on love and emotions, has been officially released. Dedicated to couples, the song beautifully portrays the sensitive aspects of a loving heart through its music, lyrics, and performances. The music video was unveiled at a special event held at Hotel Kaveri Inn in Kathmandu.
Veteran actor Madan Krishna Shrestha attended the कार्यक्रम as the chief guest. Special guests included composer Raju Singh, President of the Geetkar Sangh Nepal Basant Bityasi Thapa, lyricist Ananda Adhikari, Government Secretary Ashok Kshetri, former AIG Shyam Gyawali, and singer-composer Resham Sapkota, among many other distinguished personalities.
The song artistically depicts the longing, restlessness, and emotional fluctuations felt when one cannot meet or see their loved one. It also carries a message that lovers should never be separated, highlighting the idea that the world itself is sustained by love. The song expresses a wish for a world where love never fades and continues to enrich life.
The track features the melodious voices of Ramchandra Kafle and Dipika Bayambu Magar, with lyrics by Kamal Sharma Acharya and music composed by Rishi Khadka. Lyricist Acharya has previously released several songs and chose to launch this video on the occasion of his wife’s birthday.
The music video features performances by Suresh Kohli and Ashwini Shahi. Production management was handled by Dipen Gautam, with co-direction by Sailesh Khatri. The choreography is by Poonam Shrestha, cinematography by Utsav Dahal, and editing by Bikash Dahal. Directed by Elish Khanal, the video has been crafted to complement the song’s emotional depth. Guests at the event praised the video, which was filmed in the Panauti area of Kavrepalanchok district.
