Kathmandu: Filming for the movie Prem Geeta, under the banner of Green Parrots Film Production Pvt. Ltd., has commenced. Directed by Rajendra Basnet in his debut as a filmmaker, shooting began on Monday in Panchkhal, Kavre. Previously, Basnet had produced the films Kampan and Kauso.
The film features a cast that includes Sushil Pokharel, Jahanvi Basnet, Sajid Khan, Asha Paudel, Arjun Gurung (popularly known as Bhangeri Don), Deepak KC, Khusbu Pandey, Madhav KC, Mansi Sharma, Deepsan Limbu, Mausam Khadka, and Mamata Majhi.
Presented by Sajid Khan and produced by Ayaz Ali Khan, Prem Geeta is set to be shot across Kathmandu and Kavre over a 25-day schedule, according to director Basnet.
The film’s team includes Vinayraj Poudel as the chief assistant director, Maunata Shrestha as the writer, Rameshwar Humagai as the cinematographer, Bharat Basnet as the music director, Raju Kirat for action choreography, Ramji Lamichhane for dance choreography, and Rabi KC as the makeup artist.
