
Kathmandu: Actor Biren Shrestha, known for his performances in films such as Samarpan, Bandhaki, Duniya, Mr. Mangale, and Manle Manlai Chhunchha, has provided financial assistance to families affected by the recent flooding in Bhotekoshi.
Shrestha donated Rs. 100,000 in cash to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund, with the aim of supporting relief and rescue efforts for those affected by the flood.
Stating that standing by people affected by natural disasters is a shared social responsibility, Shrestha said he contributed whatever he could from his side. He emphasized the need for continued support for the relief and rehabilitation of citizens affected by the disaster.
Active in the Nepali film industry for many years, Shrestha has also been involved in various social initiatives alongside his acting career.
