Third Nepal Rural Film Festival (NERUFF) will witness discussion session on films and various other topics as well.
Festival to be held in Ramechhap Municipality from 6th to 8th of Baisakh, will have three panel discussion sittings in totai i.e ‘Movies and Local Government’, ‘Tourism and Movies’ and ‘Rural Stories and Nepali Movies’.
Film journalist Bishnu Subedi will facilitate ‘Movies and Local Government’ while Chairman of Film Journalist Association, Samir Balami will smooth on ‘Tourism and Movies’.
Meanwhile, ‘Rural Stories and Nepali Movies’ will be eased by screen writer Bikas Subedi.
According to Raghunath Sapkota, president of the organizing organization Celebrity Nepal, informed that panelist of cinema dialogue will be made public in a few days.
‘Such discussion will aid in promotion of Nepali cinema in local level and also supports in adding local orginality into films’, Kamal Ecchai Magar, the coordinator of the festival, said.
Magar has also informed that the organizers have already gathered to complete the festival in their home district in a beautiful and cultured manner.
Every year the festival screen Nepali feature films, short films, documentaries and cultural films made with rural aesthetics, on different districts of Nepal. This edition will witness about two dozen films.
which is organized in rural areas of different districts every year. Around 2 dozen films will be screened at the festival and the village audience will also interact with the people related to the films.
